What is Nainital famous for?
Nanital, a district of the Kumaon region, is a beautiful hill station to travel to. Personally speaking, it is the best summer vacation place to travel. The weather is soothing and pleasant. It is also known as Lake District of India. The distance between Delhi and Nanital is about 315.6 km, which takes about 6 to 7 hours to reach the destination.The best time to travel in Nanital is from march to june to avoid summer heat and from December to January to watch snowfall.
Nainital is located at 2000 m above sea level. The town is surrounded by 7 hills popularly known as SaptaShring: Arypata, Deopata,Handi-bandi, Naina, Alma,lariya-kanta and Sher Ka Danda.
My experience of Nanital was full of fun and pleasure, and being a nature lover, it is a great place to go and explore the weather and sites. I walked through the mall road, which is full of shops and restaurants, and brought the beautiful scented candle for decoration. Woolen clothes are very comfortable one most buy for cool winter. The place is having British touch as the architecture make me feel I am living in palace.
To travel, you must carry your woolen clothes, some eatables, and blanket so that it will keep you warm as the temperature goes down during the night. Although all things are available in markets of nanital, they are bit expensive.

Nani lake which is kidney-shaped, is a freshwater lake and a famous destination. The district is having lake in it heart make it beautiful spot to enjoy the nature. The lake is surrounded by walking path called mall road and the beautiful market make it more enjoying and full of pleasure.

How do I get from Delhi to Nanital by train?
It takes about 5 to 5.5. Hour to reach nanital with fast train. One can board the train from new delhi railway station it will reach its destination, Kathgodam. From there, one can have bus or cab to reach Nanital, which is 36 km away.

Nainital Lake
Nainital lake is the freash waterlake surrounded by hills. It is beautiful place to do boating, clicking selfies and walk through with your once speaking through personal experience. It is said this lake was formed because of Sati Mata eye drop.
Naina devi temple
The temple is located on the bank of the lake which give it the beautiful view and environment. I am found of visiting temple and I had a great experience here. The temple gives unique vibes and sensation.
Naina peak
It gave me a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and valley. The peak is quite exhilarating, with well-defined trails that pass through dense forests of pine, oak, and deodar trees. On reaching the top, you are rewarded with a magnificent 360-degree view of the entire region.
Mukteshwar Dham Temple
It is a 350-year-old ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is said this temple was built by Pandava during his 12 years of exile to attain mukti, or salvation.
Eco cave gardens
The garden is situated in the Sukhatal Hills, a cluster of natural rocks. I personally enjoyed this as there were sound and music show in very cave.
Snow view point
It is located in mallital and famous for the snow covered Mountain View. I was so thrilled to watch that view the rays of sunlight reflecting over snow reflecting back rainbow color. It was the great experience.
High Altitude Zoo
Located in tallital at height of 2100 mts. The zoo experience was great as always and show many endangered species residing there.
Governor’s house raj bhawan
It was great architecture by british in India. The beautiful nature gives the soothing memory to the human. This made my day by looking at the raj bhawan and embracing the ancient structure.
Pangot and Kilbury Sanctuary
It is full of natural beauty with dense cover of tree all around. It is the best place for birdwatcher and camera capture people.
Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (Astronomical observatory)
It is about 9 km from Mall Road. They just show the 40-minute solar system video, which was very informative and exciting.
Tiffin top

This is the place for trekking lovers. From there we can see nanda devi peak which was mesmerizing experience for me.
