Kedarnath Helicopter Ticket Prices:Pilgrims planning to visit Kedarnath Dham by helicopter will now have to spend more, as the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) has announced a 49% hike in fares.

When Will the Services Start?

  • Helicopter services to Kedarnath are expected to begin from September 15, 2025.
  • The final clearance from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is still awaited.
  • Once approved, online booking will start from September 10 on the official IRCTC website.

New Helicopter Ticket Prices (Round Trip)

Pilgrims will now have to pay the following fares for the Kedarnath helicopter service:

  • Guptkashi – Kedarnath: ₹12,444
  • Phata – Kedarnath: ₹8,900
  • Sirsi – Kedarnath: ₹8,500

Earlier, the fare was around ₹8,500 from Guptkashi and nearly ₹6,500 from Phata and Sirsi. This means the hike is nearly 49% compared to previous years.

Why This Increase?

According to UCADA CEO Ashish Chauhan, the hike was necessary due to operational costs and new safety measures. The services will begin only after DGCA’s final approval and favorable weather conditions.
